Bass Players & Bass Guitars

Being an artist and depending on solid bass players to make it happen, I have the fullest respect for Bass Players, but the hell if I'll ever want to play bass. I simply feel that to be a bassist, you really shouldn't be a guitar player, but more rhythm oriented and really know how to groove with the drummer.
